Can I visit a Centre before I enrol or join the waitlist?
Absolutely! In fact we encourage all Families to tour our Centres prior to enrolling. We understand that caring for your child is a big responsibility, so we want to make sure we’re the right fit for your Family. You can book a Centre tour here or by contacting our Enrolments Team on 1300 595 939.
Can I join the waitlist if my baby isn’t born yet?
Yes you can. It’s such an exciting time awaiting baby’s arrival and a great time to start planning ahead. We encourage Families who are expecting to join our waitlist so that we have your Families requirements on our system. Once the baby is born we would encourage you to contact our Enrolments Team to update your details, book a tour and secure your child’s enrolment.
What support is available for children with additional needs?
We are passionate about ensuring all children have access to early learning and have facilities and resources in place in our Centres to support children with specific requirements or additional needs - from allergies to greater care needs such as physical or learning disabilities or behavioural concerns.
Please speak with the Centre Director about how we can work together to support your child's individual needs.
Are the Centres open on public holidays?
We are not open on public holidays, however, families are still required to pay for public holidays if it falls on their child’s day of care. This is to cover the cost of your child’s spot at the Centre as well as cover our Education Teams costs.
What is the Child Care Subsidy?
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is the main way the Federal Government assists Families with their child care fees. The Child Care Subsidy is means tested based on the combined Family income, the fortnightly activity of Families and the type of service a child attends (Long Day Care, Family Day Care etc).
As part of the Child Care Subsidy, the number of hours of subsidised care you’ll be entitled to will be based on your level of recognised activity. Understanding the different types of activity that are recognised is key to maximising your Child Care Subsidy. Click here for more information on what classifies as recognised activity.
